A range of engines to suit a range of ages

Our fleet

We offer a range of trains that can be enjoyed by children of different ages. Very young children can enjoy the characters from Sodor Island including Thomas and his friends whereas slightly older children may enjoy the more modern Shinkansens(bullet trains) and other trains that can not only cover a greater distance in a short amout of time but their more powerful engines mean they are better adapted to some of the steep climbs that we will construct.

Note: not all engines may be available at all sessions but below are some of the trains you might across. We hope to add to our collection over the coming months and include some famous European trains in addition to the Japanese express trains we currently have.

Komachi
This high speed train has been running since 1997 and has a top speed of 320 km/h.
Narita Express
This runs from Narita airport and can reach central Tokyo in just 36 minutes.
Yokosuka Line
A commuter train around the greater Tokyo area.
Skyliner
A rival to the Narita Express, this also connects Tokyo to Narita airport and has an operating speed of 160 km/h (99 mph).
Tokaido line
This train(E233-3000 series) runs along Japan's Tokaido line, connecting the major cities.
Kagayaki
This E7 series Shinkansen has been running since 2015 and has an operating speed of 275 km/h (171 mph).
Chūō-Sōbu Line
These trains run on the Chūō-Sōbu Line in Chiba in the suburbs of Tokyo.
Odakyu Romancecar
This train is generally more for leisure and goes to moutainous regions of Japan.
Thomas
This famous blue tank engine first appeared in the books by Rev. W. Awdry back in 1945 and is known as being a fussy and cheeky little train.
Percy
The green number 6 engine was brought in after Gordon, James and Henry decided to go on strike. Also cheeky and likes playing jokes.
Toby
The square brown tram engine used to work on a tramway. He is old but hardworking, wise and knowledgable and knows about running trains.
Gordon
The big blue number 4 engine was quite rude and bossy towards Thomas and Percy at first. However he later helped them out.
James
The red tender engine is loud and can be rude and play jokes on Thomas. However he did apologise to Thomas.
Diesel 10
This diesel engine with large menacing claw doesn't like steam engines and can be quite nasty. However he was helpful to Henry.
